Lies of Alfassa

One of the hazards of being loved by people as Rabbi Kimmel is, is there there is always some idiot egomaniac who wants to become famous by trashing someone who is loved. One person who in my opinion is behaving as a sick person and who loves to trash Rabbi Kimmel is a guy who hides behind his mother's maiden name, Shelomo Alfassa.

Shelomo has gone out of his way to attack Kabbalists he hates including Rabbi Kimmel. The question I had is why does he hate them with such a passion? Here's what I've been told.

Shelomo has been engaged at least 5 times but has never been able to withhold his explosive abusive tendencies long enough to even get to the Chupah.

2 girls have told me personally about how he starts off as a very charming and helpful person who seems to be a great help, at first, but it comes at a price. If he helps you he owns you. One of these girls was conflicted. Alfassa wanted her to marry him. Just to make sure she went to Rabbi Kimmel and asked what he thought of the match. Rabbi Kimmel asked her. "Isn't he abusive to you even now?" She said "Yes, but I was hoping that once we were married those tendencies would go away."

The Rabbi reminded her that abusive men get more abusive after marriage and the girl broke off the engagement. She told Alfassa that she could not marry him especially without Rabbi Kimmel's blessing. I'm told this was the second time a Kabbalist told a girl not to marry Alfassa because of his explosive temper. No wonder the egomaniacal Shelomo Alfassa hates Kabbalists. They keep exposing him!

In a separate post I will expose specifically his open lies about Rabbi Kimmel.

Shelomo Alfassa is a Gentile and a very well trained Christian missionary whose real name is Scott L. Marks. His mother's maiden name is Amber Jean Barnes and she is from North Carolina. The family lived in Southern Ca, Denver and Ovieto FL where Scott attended Bible college.

The Alfassa part is made up and although he claims to be the grandson of a couple who lived in Miami, the Alfassas were Holocaust survivors with no surviving children. When Scott came to Temple Moses 20 years ago claiming to be their grandson, everyone knew that he was a fraud.

After Bible college, Marks founded his International Society for Sephardic Progress organization with a pastor named Peyton Bass.

Scott Marks went to LA and worked as a programmer for hatzolah there, slowly infiltrating the Jewish community.

Then Scott went to work for Sephardic House in NY.

After that, Scott made aliyah, paid for by Evangelical sponsored Nefesh b'Nefesh. It was in Israel that he legally changed his name to Shelomo Alfassa.

When the newly minted Shelomo Alfassa returned to the US, he went back to Orlando where he began to write and lecture. There is no Sephardic community in Orlando, only a Messianic Chabad and a Jews for Jesus. There might be a minyan of Israelis during the winter season but I am not sure if they are still meeting. Nevertheless, Orlando is not a likely place for any Sephardic Jew to live.

Marks moved inward to Brooklyn, to the Sephardic community there where was discovered to be a fraud simply by one of the rabbis asking to see his birth certificate.

I WISH that more synagogues would do background checks on some of the people who come to speak and teach. There are a lot of missionaries who are speaking in our synagogues.

Rabbi Yair Hoffman investigated Alfassa/Marks before Pesah.

It is shocking to me that any girl or her rabbi would contemplate marrying without even finding out if the person is Jewish!

    1. I'm not sure how accurate the above post is but I plan to investigate it. I did discover one shocking thing. Photos of Alfassa and Marks appear highly identical. I just received a phone that confirmed that Al attended Christian bible college in Florida. Every body has the right to be Christian, but you have no right to pass youself off as a Jew when you aren't. Several people who know him personally have spoken to me and told me that he may be masquerading as a Jew. They've told me he doesn't observe kosher or Shabbat.

People who were eyewitness to his explosive temper have given me detailed testimony about the incidents.

Because much of this comment has been confirmed by outside sources, I am leaving it up. I invite Shelomo Alfassa to prove this is not true. Submit your birth certificate, let me contact your relatives. There is clearly a concern raised that this "pillar of the community" is nothing more than a manufactured persona.

    2. Some more details of my investigation on Shelomo Alfassa.

There is a small sephardic community in Orlando Florida. If one wanted to build a Jewish identity when one wasn't Jewish, that would be a good place to do it. They are very welcoming and trusting people.

Nefesh Bnefesh while funded by non-Jews does pay for many free trips to Israel taken by religious Jews so while Alfassa may have had a trip paid for by them, it does not necessarily prove anything. Fair is fair.

As of now another person has called me and confirmed his attendance at bible college in Florida. Has this guy pulled the wool over the Sephardic community in Flatbush?
